Topic: Clinical Aspects of Ano-rectal Diseases in Ayurveda
Abstract: The earliest reference of Persia can be found in the Vedas. Sushruta in his Sushruta samhita elaborately explain about the inner rectal diseases. Hemorrhoids, Anal Fissures, Anal Fistula, Ano-rectal Abscess are well explained in the samhitas. The concept of Ano-rectal Diseases in Ayurveda gives a new dimension to the Research scholars. The clinical study on the Ano-rectal Diseases explained in Ayurveda is compared with the concepts of Modern Science which will help us to make out the clear concepts of Ano-rectal Diseases.
