Dr. Puneet Misra, MD, MPH, PGDHHM, FIPHA, FIAPSM, WHO Fellow (Liverpool, UK), AIIMS, New Delhi, India  - Dr. Puneet Misra is faculty member, Centre for Community Medicine, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.  He has over twenty five years of experience as Physician, Researcher, epidemiologist, and Public health expert. He has vast experience of doing community based research and providing comprehensive health care to rural community.  He has collaboration with various national and international organizations for community based health care and research.  He has to his credit more than 50 research projects funded by National, International organizations including MoHFW, WHO, Unicef, CDC.  He has published more than hundred and fifty papers in pub med indexed Journals and a book chapter in Comparative Health systems about Health system of India and many other books and publications.  He is reviewer for various national and International Journals including BMJ, Lancet, BMC, PLoS. His work mainly include non communicable diseases and promoting health through life style interventions, yoga, Ayurveda , meditation, spirituality, holistic and integrative health.  He also works in areas like HIV surveillance, Influenza, child care, Vaccine trials, diabetes, stress etc.  He was involved with Covid vaccine trials and also conducted largest sero epidemiological study throughout India for WHO in longitudinal way for three years on more than 10000 individuals. He is also member of various scietific committees and task forces to help Govt of India in health related issues including Program Advisory committee of DST, ICMR, MoHFW.  During Covid 19 pandemic, he was member of central team for Delhi and Central RRT for MoHFW.  He is expert member for advisory committee in department of Science for Yoga. He is currently associated with one of the largest community based randomized trial to see effect of ayurvedic drug in anemia in collaboration with AYUSH Ministry and ICMR in India.  Other research trial with Ayurvedic drug is going on for cognitive disorders.  One of his study is funded by ICMR to integrate yoga (for diabetes, stress and other disorders) with health and wellness centers. He has served as a member of the Executive Committee of Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine (IAPSM) for many years and was National President of IAPSM for year 2013-2014.  He has been awarded fellowship of IAPSM and IPHA.  He was WHO fellow at Liverpool school of Tropical Medicine.

John Lizcano, Colombia - John became interested in the Yoga world while practicing and competing as a sports gymnast in his native country, Colombia. After an injury to his wrist, he decided to seek a healthier discipline and luckily discovered yoga. Years later, John moved to Europe where he became immersed in a deeper yoga practice with greater motivation to train. Which launched a spiritual journey to experience the roots of Yoga, so he went to India (Rishikesh and Goa). John undertook his first formal yoga training there and developed a profound respect for Eastern culture and teachers. Today he enjoys, applying and integrating mindful skills and philosophies to hand-balance techniques and yoga practice. His passion for inversions and handstands led him to dive into the Rocket yoga style, where he learned more dynamic sequences. Currently, his classes take a more organic approach to yoga learning and encourage practitioners to enjoy the yogic combination of sweat, equilibrium, creativity, and presence

She combines her love of children and cuisine by recently establishing a school for children "creativity and confidence through the medium of cooking". Her teaching skills are underpinned by two qualifications. Bachelor in  Childhood Education and Care.(NZ) Cert. Cuisine Le Cordon Bleu (Paris). Shalini has extended her passion to her self funded English School in a Siem Reap village. Dr. Santhisree Bheesetti, BAMS, Hyderabad, India - Dr. Santhisree Bheesetti, have over 12 years of experience as an Ayurvedic physician, specializing in neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly autism and ADHD. As the founder of Sree Prathama Ayurvedam, the first Ayurvedic hospital in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana offering inpatient care for autism and ADHD, I focus on integrating traditional Ayurvedic therapies with modern approaches to deliver holistic, personalized treatment. My hospital has branches in Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, and Bangalore, and I operate an AYUSH-licensed manufacturing unit in Hyderabad that produces customized Ayurvedic medicines for children. My practice emphasizes pulse diagnosis (Nadi Pariksha), Panchakarma, and specialized herbal formulations, combined with Yoga to enhance cognitive and behavioral outcomes. Abstract: This presentation explores the synergistic integration of Ayurveda and Yoga as a holistic approach to improving cognitive and behavioral outcomes in children with autism and ADHD. Ayurveda, with its focus on personalized treatments through pulse diagnosis (Nadi Pariksha), herbal formulations, and Panchakarma therapies, addresses the root imbalances associated with neurodevelopmental disorders. When combined with Yoga practices, such as pranayama, asanas, and meditation, these ancient sciences work together to enhance cognitive function, attention span, emotional regulation, and overall well-being. This presentation will share practical knowledge and experiences from Sree Prathama Ayurvedam, where customized Ayurvedic treatments and Yoga have brought significant improvements in the lives of children with autism and ADHD. It will also discuss practical recommendations for integrating these practices into daily routines, empowering both children and their families in the journey toward better health and quality of life.
