Topic: Mantra Yoga: The Yoga of Vibration
Abstract: Mantra Yoga is the ancient practice of healing through sound. Specific sounds, or mantras, were revealed by the saints and sages for the benefit of healing both ourselves and those around us. The sages recommend various practices for healing, including niyama (observances), prayschitta (atonement), and upavasa (fasting); the practice of mantra is unique in that it can be practiced as a complete practice by itself or in addition to / in combination with other practices. Mantra uses the vibrations of the sound to heal the mind and cleanse the subtle energy channels in the body. The Vedas contain a wealth of knowledge that can be used to heal both the inner and the outer self.

Topic: Pandemic & Global Health Challenges- Ayurvedic Perspective
Abstract:
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic that has gripped the world, it has become apparent that only you are responsible for your own health and well-being. At present, the entire human race is collectively focused on remaining disease-free. In times of sudden and unprecedented changes the effects of subcellular molecular events have rippled across the entire planet. Understanding Jyotish, or Vedic Astrology, helps us to gain insight into how certain planetary evolutions can affect our day to day lives at an individual as well as cosmic level. Our thoughts that turn into actions have a grave impact on our health. Fear tends to spread even more rapidly than the virus! It is essential to rally collective human efforts to truly understand the pandemic and its after-effects. It boils down to the Vedic concept of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam which means that the whole world is one family. Ayurveda is a perfect template to boost the Collective Immunity of the Planet.

Topic: Ayurvedic Wisdom for Prevention and Wellness of Mental Health
Abstract: Ayurveda believes health to be a balance of mental, physical, and spiritual wellness. Our physical and mental health is intertwined, and we must look at ourselves in this holistic light.
The physical body has three psycho-biological components, each administering various elements of the human body. Ayurveda says the loss of knowledge isn’t the reason, but the real reason is ignorance resulting in mental health wellness falls into three general classifications:
• Satvavajaya –which includes the practice of yoga, ethical living, and self-discipline. Also, supportive relationships, breathing practices, and meditation.
• Daivavyapashraya –faith in our ability to heal, faith in a divine source. Reciting or chanting mantras that can shift our inner vibration and spiritual rituals to clear negative energies.
• Yuktivyapashraya –is to bring back Dosha and Guna balance to the mind by utilizing diet, nutrition, exercise, lifestyle, mental cleansing, rejuvenating herbs, and purification treatments.
The Meditation and Ayurveda Connection to Mental Health and Wellness
Modern medicines don’t have a systematic technique for encountering this inconspicuous and necessary condition of mindfulness, and as such, might be restricted in their capacity to accomplish their objectives. As per Ayurveda, to be a genuinely healthy individual, one should regularly experience the deep silence found at the source of thought by transcending thought. What we experience, and what we relate to, we reflect in our self-awareness.
While doing an everyday practice, the following completely natural methodologies can truly sustain sound, indispensable emotional well-being.
• Vegetarian Diet and Gut health– Eating good quality food according to the dosha and season advances physical and mental health as our digestion is most vital at this time.
• Activity –Exercise has been shown to improve mental health by reducing anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem, and improving mood, self-esteem, and cognitive function.
• Sound Sleep –Sleep is a significant segment that encourages us to feel clear, calm, and completely functional.
• Get into Nature –Being in nature offers an ideal method to go through some careful minutes, being genuinely present and seeing the trees, blossoms, mists, or even the ants slithering along
the tree trunk
• Laughter –Laughter Yoga can push you to in a real sense to laugh away your stress.
• Relationship with Loved Ones –Connection with others is significant for mental prosperity, incredibly supportive of uneasiness and sorrow

Topic: Management of Autoimmunity with Ayurveda
Abstract:
In the last few years, there has been a surge of Autoimmune diseases that has become more like an epidemic all over the world. The reasons vary from stress, insufficient sleep, smoking, genetics, environmental pollution, adulterated foods, diet full of “the deadly white” which is the white sugar, white flour. Most of the people diagnosed with these diseases are given steroids, supplements, or elimination diets to manage their lives, but most of them continue suffering in varying degrees. I will discuss how Ayurveda can help in preventing it or help in arresting the progression of autoimmune problems. How a combination of therapies, diet lifestyle and herbs and especially panchakarma can help in the management of rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, diabetes, lupus, IBS, celiac, and other autoimmune diseases. Overview of autoimmunity from western and Ayurvedic perspective will be discussed.

Topic: Meditation, Self Referral, and Compassion - The Foundation of Ayurvedic Practice
Abstract: From the very first chapter of Charaka Samhita Sutra Sthana, it is apparent that the great tradition of Ayurveda emerged from meditation, self referral, and compassion. These three are the central principles through which any Ayurvedic practitioner must approach themselves, and their clients. The Science of Life is the Science of Self.  In this presentation, we will discuss the origins of Ayurveda, the essential nature of these three principles, and their ultimate impact on our societies. Our goal is to integrate the practical applications of Vedic wisdom into daily discipline, and positively impact all we interact with. Meditation, Self Referral, and Compassion seem to be Ayurveda's inherent origin, means, and intention.

Topic: Dhanwantari Homam (Fire Ceremony) - Practical Demonstration
Abstract:
Dhanwantari an Avatar of Lord Vishnu and the King of Varanasi. He appeared during the Samudra Manthan (Great Churn) holding the Amrit Kalash (elixir). He is mentioned as the God of Ayurveda in the Puranas. Dhanvantari is also referred as the Hindu God of Medicine by the great Indian expert of medicine, Sushruta. Devotees worship Dhanvantari to seek His blessings for good health during Dhanteras.
Traditionally, Dhanvantari is depicted as Lord Vishnu with four hands, carrying the Amrit-Kalash, Shankh, Chakra, and Jalauka (leech). Some texts also show him as holding a conch, medicinal herbs, Amrit Kalash, and Ayurveda Granth (Book).
Dhanvantari Homam is an important Homam performed to Lord Dhanvantari offering obeisance to him. Dhanvantari is invoked in a Kalash and Ahutis offered in the sacred fire. When you perform Dhanvantari Homam, it is believed to reverse the health problems.
Dhanvantari Puja is performed to attain health, wealth and success by invoking the blessing of Lord Dhanvantari who is known as the celestial healer. The Puja is performed to cure illnesses making mind and body strong and thereby return to full health.
Dhanvantari Homam is performed by chanting Dhanvantari Mantra using 108 different medicinal herbs during the Prayog. These medicinal herbs when burnt release gases with medicinal properties in the atmosphere thereby cleansing the air and alleviating the ailments.
The father of Ayurveda, Lord Dhanvantari is believed to have appeared on the day of Dhanteras with the pot of elixir. Hence, Dhanvantari Puja and Yagna are performed on Dhanvantari Trayodashi, celebrated two days before Diwali Puja. The day marks the appearance of Lord Vishnu in His divine avatar of Lord Dhanvantari.
Dhanvantari Homam is considered a very beneficial Homam in Hinduism and is the best way to get relief from any kind of serious illness.
