- Valid Passport and Indian Visa is required to travel. Your passport must be valid for up to 6 months following your return to the United States; meaning the end of July 2020. If you need to acquire or renew a passport, it may take 6 weeks to 3 months to process passport renewal.
- Apply for tourist visa for India.
- Immunizations: Please talk to your family physician. There is nothing mandatory . Please also check latest information on the www.cdc.gov website for more details of immunizations requirement.
- Travel light if possible (follow the guidelines of airline weight restrictions). Always remember, airlines restricting their luggage policy.
- Bring comfortable casual light weight clothes. (you can also buy Indian cotton clothes).
- Bring 3 copies of your passport photographs.
- Bring a notebook to write notes
- Please do not bring expensive jewelry or valuable items.
- Do not bring excess money. You can use credit cards some of the big shops. Check with your bank for any extra charges will be charges for international transactions for your credit card. You can also exchange currency at the airport.
- Take your personal band aids, first aid things and any of your prescribed meditations or drugs.
- Please bring some small gifts - You may like to give to friendly technicians or staff.
