Medical astrology has a significant role in all branches of Medicine and the Birth Chart of a person gives a clear picture of the influence of planetary bodies on the physical and astral body of a person, manifesting the physical and mental health. Planets have a control over Dosha or Guna of a person and the celestial bodies have vital involvement in the various aspects of a disease like -
a) The type of a disease can be indicated by the involvement of a planet
b) The site of a disease can be indicated by the particular zodiac sign
c) Period of suffering can be indicated by Timeline (Dashas) of a planet
Medical Astrology is useful in assessing the timing, prevention, diagnosis, severity and treatment of a disease and uses four elements i.e. Fire, Earth, Air and Water for understanding the nature of a person.
