Energy Medicine approach for Cancer Care - Dr. Richaritha Gundlapalli
Richaritha Gundlapalli, MD, FAAP, Chicago, IL, USA is a trained board-certified pediatrician and integrative medicine physician. She heads the Energy Medicine and Research Department at BElifeTM as well as its Longevity and Weight Management Program. She is also a BEinshapeTM Trainer and Specialist there. BElifeTM is a global training and development organization, headquartered in USA. Its programs focus on holistic health and wellness and provide a new psychology and practical life tools to professionals, families and young people to achieve balance, success and fulfillment in order to live their greatest life! At BElifeTM, she conducts workshops of BEwell ScienceTM Energy medicine target audience being health care professionals. Dr Richaritha is part of a research team collaborating with the Villa Medical Group in Florida to evaluate the efficacy of BEwell ScienceTM Energy Medicine techniques on patients with sleep issues. Presently, she is in the process of creating a curriculum for healthcare professionals involving rotations and future electives at the BElifeTM Center in Houston. She is also on the Board of Directors of the MDP Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity in the US which aims to serve humanity and the world with programs on holistic health and wellness. In her capacity as a pediatrician, she is associated with the Advocate Masonic Medical Center, Chicago. Prior to this, she worked at the Harmony Healing Center in Oklahoma City as an integrative physician. Her philosophy is to integrate Ancient Wisdom with Modern Science. She is trained in Ayurveda, Acupuncture and is also a student of Anthroposophy. Dr. Gundlapalli has been sought after as a speaker at several national conventions related to Holistic Health and the Environment. She has also been a speaker at Retreats for Residents and Doctors where she has delivered empowering strategies to help them balance life. She has applied her leadership skills to mentor medical students and residents at the University of Illinois in Chicago. She was an accomplished Pediatric Resident and Chief Resident there and given the Outstanding Chief Resident Award for her academic skills and career building initiatives for medical students and residents. She also received the Best Senior Award for her mentoring skills during her second year of residency training. Thereafter, she obtained the National Recognition Award for her contribution to promoting Integrative Medicine. She has written several articles in Natural Awakenings, a holistic health magazine and other scientific journals on the topic of Integrative and Environmental Medicine. She is an Honorary Clinical Board Member of AAPNA (Association of Ayurvedic Professionals of Northern America) as well as a member of the Oklahoma Acupuncture Association, AAP (American academy of pediatrics) and PAAM (Physicians association of anthroposophic medicine). With her strong commitment to children in need, she co-founded Ashajyothi USA, a non-profit organization for orphans and children with special needs. Her interest in children’s health, wellbeing and future prompted her to train in Environmental Medicine and Sustainable Living and become a certified Biodynamic farmer who has led educational workshops nationally for families and communities. Dr. Richa’s vision is to see Energy Medicine being part of all hospitals, specialized healing centers and corporations. She is committed, through her work and training, to bridge the gap between mainstream and comprehensive integrative medicine. She continues to offer her experience, skills and her propensity to serve humanity and the world with her community projects.
