Ayurvedic holistic approach in the treatment of Cancer

Introduction – Having worked in the field of cancer and Ayurveda, for last 28 years, and having seen thousands of patients, especially in last phases, I realize the necessity of ayurvedic holistic approach especially in cancer sufferers, for better quality of life.

The need – A large population across the globe is already suffering from cancer and a larger population is prone to cancer in near future. So many aspects such as lifestyle, diet, mindset, psychological factors like stress and depression, etc. need proper attention for any disease and especially for cancer.

The approach – We should emphasize on Ayurvedic holistic approach for overall management of the patient. This includes lifestyle, diet, mindset, psychological aspects like stress, depression, prevention of cancer at primary and secondary level, better quality of in advanced cases and reducing side effects of chemo and radiation. The speaker will elaborate all these aspects with practical experiences.
