Role of Women in Health and Wellness
Dr. Sunita Kanumury is President, American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI) and a Diplomat of the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. She is a practicing allergist in Morris, Essex, and Union Counties. She is a Fellow of the American College of Allergy and Immunology and a Member of the American Academy of Allergy and Immunology. She has affiliations with Morristown Memorial Hospital, St. Barnabas Hospital, St. Clare’s Hospital, St. James Hospital, and Hackettstown Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Kanumury has been actively involved with American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI). She has served as a Member of the Board of Trustees of AAPI and as Regional Director of Mid Atlantic AAPI. She was Vice President and founding member of AAPI of Northwest New Jersey, and she has been a member of the Ethics and Grievance, and Benefits Committee with national AAPI.
