Sangeeta Ahuja has been a nutritionist and a registered dietitian for over 25 years. Sangeeta works as Director of Nutrition Services at Mt. Vernon Community Health Center in Mt. Vernon, NY. She is also on the staff as a Certified Diabetes Educator at Stamford Hospital in Connecticut. She has a private practice and is a consulting nutritionist for Catholic Family Services in Stamford, CT. Sangeeta is also on the speakers circle with Pfizer, Bayer, Accu-Chek and Advanced Research Foundation.
Sangeeta is Chair of GOPIO International's (Global Organization of People of Indian Origin) Health Council; prior to serving as Chair, she was president of GOPIO Connecticut for four years. Sangeeta is on the board of Connecticut Association of Diabetes Educators, GOPIO-CT and The Center for Sexual Assault and Crisis Services. A resident of Stamford, CT, she is extremely involved in her community and conducts free yoga classes and disease prevention programs.
