Female Infertility - Dr. Amitabh Gumman
Dr. Amit Gumman’s medical training integrates a wide array of therapeutic modalities drawn from acupuncture, ayurveda, herbology, naturopathy and yoga. He graduated in Ayurvedic Medicine from the Govt. Ayurvedic Medical College, Hyderabad, India. He also holds a Diploma in Naturopathy and is certified as a yoga instructor. Thereafter, he completed his Doctorate of Acupuncture and PhD. from the International University of Complementary Medicine, Colombo, Sri Lanka. He then completed his Masters of Public Health degree from Oklahoma University Health Sciences Center and MD from the University of Health Sciences, Antigua School of Medicine. He is the Past-President of Oklahoma Acupuncture Association and also the Past-Vice President of Oklahoma Naturopathic Physicians Association.
The prevalence of female infertility is rising. An integrative approach in addressing the various etiologies of infertility will be discussed. Having treated hundreds of patients over the past 20 years, practical insights will be shared. Treating patients undergoing assisted reproductive modalities like artificial insemination and in vitro fertilization, success rate has been more than doubled. Clinical and peer reviewed published research data will be shared. Integration and incorporation of ayurveda, acupuncture, naturopathy and yoga will be discussed.
