About the Conference
In Ayurveda, cancer is generally understood through concepts like Arbuda (major neoplasms or tumors) and Granthi (minor neoplasms or glandular growths). Rather than just targeting a tumor, Ayurvedic care is a person-focused, holistic system that aims to restore the body’s internal balance (Prakriti) to create an environment where cancer cannot thrive.

Topic: Langhanam (Fasting): Personal Experience Abstract: This presentation explores Langhanam (therapeutic fasting) through personal experience and traditional Jain wisdom. I learned the disciplined method of fasting directly from an ayurvedic master Jain Muni, whose guidance emphasized both physiological purification and mental clarity. Applying this practice in my early thirties, I experienced complete relief from severe arthritis without medication. The same Jain Muni successfully helped many individuals overcome cancer and other chronic ailments through structured fasting and spiritual discipline. My talk highlights the principles behind Langhanam, its transformative impact on my health, and its potential as a complementary approach in managing complex diseases.
